Anyone have experience with retro bright ? I just ordered an akura hdmi adapter for my dreamcast but it is severely yellowed both the console and controllers / vmus. Don't want it to look like crap when I hook it up. Considering either painting or retro bright. I've heard that retro bright isn't permanent though and the yellow will come back in about a year. Thoughts ?

Yes, if you're using the salon cream then make sure to get the one in the all white bottle. Do NOT use the one with gold trim as it has various acids thrown into the mix which will result in streaking every time.

It'll look just fine when you hook it up. The yellowing only affects the case.

yeah, I'm thinking of just saying fuk it... Will just tuck it under the table somewhere so its less noticeable. Was also looking into replacement shells though.

Use the 40 volume clear developer, and a sous-vide set to 160.

Best results every time.

Retrobrite is great for white plastics like the Dreamcast, PC Engine and Famicom. For gray plastics it can be hit or miss since you might get ugly white streaks and I am looking into alternative techniques for it.
