Nice platformer, even if "tad" too easy (one sitting stuff). Still, very, very nice one.

Not sure if serious, but beats calling it "the hardest game ever. You can never get through this. Unplayable. Just like darksouls" game that ecelebs make it out to be.

When I first saw this game back in 1996, I thought it was mindblowing. The graphics were simply amazing. The game was fun, too.

It's would be very, very hard, but that "no lifes+every screen is a checkpoint" system made it very easy. I've really finished it at one sitting (16h or so long one, I was young and reckless back then :^)) I'm more casual than a pro for sure, not that gifted and platformers usually ain't my cup of tea.
I think I'll keep my opinion.

I'm inclined to agree with you but I tend to play devil's advocate.
HoD has an approximate two hours of gameplay when it comes down to it, can be speedrun with no modifications in thirty minutes, and I've seen criticism that the reflexes needed to get a handle on the controls "pads out playtime and difficulty." I've never really met another person who it's an easy game for, so I've just sorta accepted that I'm wrong.
But it's nice meeting you and I think it changed my outlook on the matter. Have a nice day. You have very good taste in games.
