Why do people think owning a sealed game is the equivalent to striking oil?
Can I make money off this? I have a sealed copy of Crash Nitro Kart on ps2, will hipsters buy that shit for 700$?

Also, every answer that isn't Wario Land 3 is a terrible answer and you should feel ashamed. Shantae is acceptable too but who even played it when it was new?

I have hard time deciding between Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and Pokemon Yellow. With both I spent long time, with both despite occasional hardship (mostly in the former) I had plenty of time, finishing both filled me with that nostalgic feeling one gets when achieving something long worked for but at the same time - having to bring the whole adventure to an end.

I am curious as to why it is your favorite because I know the mechanics were utterly changed to be more like the first two. I still like FFLIII since it is my first RPG, but not as much as the second.

I actually prefer the more Final Fantasy controls. SaGa has always been a bit frustrating for me to play and I have yet to actually play through any other games. The DS remake of 3 was remade to be more like a normal SaGa game.

Also, the music of Legends 3/SaGa 3 was done by Ryuji Sasai, the same guy who did Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

>> No.459485

>>459452
When re-reading my sentence I realized I didn't state what I was referring to, but yeah I am wondering why you are awaiting the remake since it was re-hauled to be more SaGa like rather than experience points and levels. I'd imagine that would be a turn off since most people who like the SaGa system gravitate to FFLII were as people who aren't that fond of it gravitate to FFLIII which is why the SaGa 3 remake probably wouldn't appeal to fans of the original, or at least I'd assume so.

I want to give the SaGa series a fair shot, and I think replaying one of the games I know I loved the story for, even if it's really corny, might help me get over the hump.

>> No.459549

>>459514
Fair enough, though I personally think if you were unable to get into FFLI and II because of its growth mechanics and other mechanics then the series may not be for you. It isn't a series that tries to appeal to everyone and fairly polarizing. So if you don't end up enjoying it because of the different mechanics that is fine.

I just finished FFL3 yesterday. I like it.
But is it just me, or is the game... really easy?

Midgame, I just taught everyone Stone and would destroy 9/10 encounters with that. Late game everyone had some all-hitting spell, be it Flare, Nuke, Flood, White, etc. and I would just spam those to get through dungeons... then use one of my 9 tents before the boss. And during a boss I could just spam CureB with one character and never die...

Don't get me wrong, though, it was really fun.
