It's hard to say since I don't regularly check their values on the reseller market. But quickly going over my library, some possibilities include:

>Smash Bros. Melee (Seriously, why is this shit even so expensive right now? I paid $15 for it back in the day.)
>GC version of Twilight Princess (Gave all of $5 for it.)
>JP Game Boy version of Gargoyle's Quest II
>the first Gargoyle's Quest
>Gradius: The Interstellar Assault
>all the King's Field games except the first one (But they're all the JP versions, so probably not worth as much to resellers.)

I sold off a lot of things after switching over to soft mods and backup media. I still have quite a few original discs and cartridges though.

I was a little surprised to find out that Gradius games are generally expensive. I thought the series was a lot more mainstream, but maybe Konami didn't publish that many copies.

Einhander ps1
Iron storm Sega Saturn
Strikers 1945 Japanese Saturn import
Starcraft 64
Jurassic Park operation Genesis
Resident evil gaiden cib
Aliens vs predator extinction (I wouldn’t really call that RARE but it’s one of the more expensive xbox games and happens to be my favorite)

I owned the grey cart of turok rage wars for looong time until I recently sold it, That was the rarest game I happened to have owned since it was a 4.99 eb games bargain bin throw away...i didn’t care too much of its value so I just traded it for a Saturn setup. Happy with my choice tho, as I play that Saturn regularly.

Well its a couple different reasons tBh. I was bit by the pinball bug pretty bad a couple years back first off. Mostly tho I just do not have the free time anymore to play a lot of games so I sold off a majority of my collection. It's easy to squeeze in a couple games of pinball here and there with no issue. Sitting and playing something for a couple hours? Unless I take a day off from work that's not happening.

I really get sucked into Tony Hawk 2 whenever I play and like 2 years ago I got the Dreamcast version at the flea market, played it for like 6 hours and my dreamcast took a dump. Fixed it but short story long I really enjoyed the DC version. No idea what it's worth doe

About 13 bucks.

I wish I could contribute but Earthbound is the "rarest" thing I own in all honesty. For me unless I absolutely love the game it's hard to justify paying more then $60 or so on a game. I have bought more expensive stuff but not particularly rare stuff.

>>4586189
Quite a lot of factors.
>came out late in system's lifespan
>low print run
>low sales
Just bad timing really. Complete copies go for about $100, I see disk only copies go for as low as $60 though so if you're fine with that then it isn't too bad. What's a real shame is that both MML games had a compliation port on the psp but it was Japan only sadly.

Thrill Kill was never officially released, do you mean he has a burned copy of the released iso or a prototype copy?

I have Musya on the SNES too, though, but I'm not sure how rare it is. I actually kind of like it, side scrolling Japanese culture horror.

Is there a list out there that shows somewhat accurate numbers on how many copies were printed for "rare" games? I can't really think of many games I own that would be considered rare, outside of stuff like Valkyrie Profile, Misadventures of Tron Bonne, Tales of Destiny, Elemental Gearbolt, Arc the Lad Collection, and Persona. Most of the JP PS1 games I have aren't rare, since they're mostly Square reprints, but I do have a mint condition JP Persona, complete in box.
