Probably either Harvest Moon 64, or Raw Danger for the PS2. I'm not a collectorfag though.

Joust 2 arcade game. Only 1000 units were shipped. I'd be surprised if more than 200 have survived today. Time is not kind to old arcade cabinets.

As for games, nothing exceedingly rare. I have a boxed (opened) copy of Solar Jetman. Also have several of the Wisdom Tree games.

I own a (last time I checked) working cartridge of the SNES version. Although it's a bootleg, the wiki claims it's even rarer than the Mega Drive version and there's very little about them I could find, so I assume it is decently rare...

It's hard to say since I don't regularly check their values on the reseller market. But quickly going over my library, some possibilities include:

I sold off a lot of things after switching over to soft mods and backup media. I still have quite a few original discs and cartridges though.

I was a little surprised to find out that Gradius games are generally expensive. I thought the series was a lot more mainstream, but maybe Konami didn't publish that many copies.

I owned the grey cart of turok rage wars for looong time until I recently sold it, That was the rarest game I happened to have owned since it was a 4.99 eb games bargain bin throw away...i didn’t care too much of its value so I just traded it for a Saturn setup. Happy with my choice tho, as I play that Saturn regularly.

I have somewhere around 90+ review/preview/development/prototypes/whatevers for various consoles. By their nature they are all very few of a kind, though it is hard to say if any are truly one-of-a-kind. If internet sales are anything to go by, it seems clear that some prototypes had runs greater than one might expect.

I have a gray catridge of Ocarina of Time that has red blood and the original fire temple chant. Is that rare? I believe is version 1.1

Unfortunately I have no idea where the case ended up going, but I do have this.

In terms of value, probably the Marathon Trilogy box set. In terms of being impossible to find for sale, though probably not very valuable, any number of mail-order Macintosh games from the 90s.

I'll never understand collecting English Nintendo localizations. There's so much content that's cut or censored. It's essentially just an imitation of the original game. Zelda GB for instance has several censored lines and sprites, and some of the translated lines completely miss context or are just outright lazy.

I don't think the earlier versions were necessarily rare. Nintendo might have printed millions of copies before moving on to the next revision.

Also, the last revision still had red blood in specific areas, just not the Ganondorf battle.

I still have yet to come across another person who owns a complete version of Battletoads in Ragnaroks World (GB) so that might be the rarest. I also own Mega Man X2, X3, Pocky & Rocky, Sunset Riders (complete), Monster in my Pocket x2 (complete) and a bunch of other stuff that I can't think of at the moment.

Rarest of the lot is probably Metal Slug 5 since it didn't have a cart release in Japan and was one of the last Neo Geo games. The console stuff all had decent print runs.(not sure about Terranigma)

I don't know If I have any rare games because I don't rly know about revs or versions but I don't think I have any rare games at all.

Well its a couple different reasons tBh. I was bit by the pinball bug pretty bad a couple years back first off. Mostly tho I just do not have the free time anymore to play a lot of games so I sold off a majority of my collection. It's easy to squeeze in a couple games of pinball here and there with no issue. Sitting and playing something for a couple hours? Unless I take a day off from work that's not happening.

Nothing crazy-rare. I've got Harvest Moon 64, Knights of the Round on SNES and Metal Storm on NES. The only thing I've got that is certifiably rare is the golden Zelda edition of the Game Boy Camera, which only had 2000 copies released exclusively through the Nintendo Power catalog. Mostly people don't know it even exists, nor is there much demand for it, I don't think. I've seen maybe 1 or 2 up for sale on ebay over the past 10 years, in the area of $1000.

Is there a list out there that shows somewhat accurate numbers on how many copies were printed for "rare" games? I can't really think of many games I own that would be considered rare, outside of stuff like Valkyrie Profile, Misadventures of Tron Bonne, Tales of Destiny, Elemental Gearbolt, Arc the Lad Collection, and Persona. Most of the JP PS1 games I have aren't rare, since they're mostly Square reprints, but I do have a mint condition JP Persona, complete in box.
