Hey vrfags, what's your favorite arcade game?! My fav is Space Harrier!

I really liked this appearing again in Yakuza 0.
It was in Shenmue in the arcade as well right? I remember sucking at it back then but I'm better a lot better at it now.
I always liked light gun shooters in arcades aside from that.

It's incredibly hard for me to choose. I guess the first that comes to mind is Dogyuun.

No accounting for taste. Guessing you also have a favorite color and number.

Based purely on nostalgia it would have to be between Raiden and Altered Beast. My most played cabinet is Soul Calibur 2. There was a foodcourt right down the street from my school and i'd play other kids for a dollar or two, beat them and then buy myself a slice of pizza. Good memories of that cabinet.

What kind of bland robot are you that you don't have a favorite color?

Still trying to 1cc it.

I made it to the last stage on a single credit. I will get there one day.

Forgotten Worlds doesn't get that much love. It's a shame because it's a visually stunning game and it plays just fine.

House of the Dead. Tekken 3 is a close second.

I had an amazing time with this, and to a lesser extent the sequel, on some capcom collection on ps2. You are right in that it looks amazing, but what really got me was how perfect the twin stick style of shooting felt.
Being a little dude with a jetpack is always a plus in gaming.

I think the issue is that to be fully appreciated you need a special controller for the rotatable fire button.

Elevator Action Returns. Pure kino, great re-imagining of the original, awesome scoring systems, smooth soundtrack, gorgeous. Only flaw is that the time limits are too lenient so to get a truly high score you have to milk the inifnitely respawning enemies for points which blows
