Easy game. But great gameplay and graphics. I liked the new whip functions and how faster you can move walking.

It's perhaps on par if you play as Maria because similarly to CV4 not feeling balanced around the 8-direction whip, Rondo isn't really balanced for Maria.

No, I mean playing as Richter. With Maria you have less health and don't get a sub-weapon as OP as the bible.
As for Bloodlines, it's definitely harder than Rondo (which I consider the easiest), maybe Bloodlines is on par with IV.
Still all of them are easier than the NES ones.
By the way, harder =/= better, my favorite is Rondo.
