Regardles of people screaming about ecelebs or whatever, a large amount of games that LJN published were really poor. Lots of shitty NES movie tie-ins and horrible Acclaim games. As someone mentioned previously Maximum Carnage is pretty neat, but I'd still consider it well below the quality of most beat em ups of that gen which people remember fondly. I also have a soft spot for True Lies

Brah as much as I like Maximum Carnage, that's LJN's "magnum opus" (since they were a publisher after all) and it doesn't even touch games like Ghost in the Shell for the PS1, Red Faction, Saints Row, Darksiders, Double Dragon, Bubble Bobble, Bust-A-Move, Children of the Atom, Shadow Man, Crazy Taxi, Turok, or especially SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom

THQ and Acclaim published a lot of shovelware yes, but they had more good games overall which were generally all much better than even LJN's 4 or 5 good games.
