Personally I would have liked it if it was supposed to be "Zelda is your sister."
Kid finds out that he has a sibling, a sibling in danger. One he has never likely interacted with beyond, seeing her in parades. And the danger is real. He knew dark forces where conspiring the moment his sister contacted him and possibly his 'uncle' telepathically. (I think he is Links father and not the King. Hence why he lives just outside the castle, not in town and not as a prince in the castle.). 1/2 blood bastard and all.
Imagining he takes up that sword and charges off to save her with out pause. Even when she is again kidnapped and further still finds him self in a hellish backwards world?... That is courage

This thread reminded me that I wondered what the line meant when I was a kid too. After learning moonrunes, I can confirm that yeah, it's supposed to be "You're Zelda's... [last hope]." or something along those lines.

Didn't bother reading rest of the thread though, but you often see translations that are completely opposite of what the original was supposed to be, and that seems to be the case here too.
