Can't seem to stop buying systems. Is there any essential thing I need or should I be happy?

Maybe get an n64? Or complete your Genesis with a Sega CD and 32x? OR get into the PVM and RGB meme?

And this too but I don't even have a Neo Geo although if I ran across a big red MVS cheap I'd buy it.

This is offtopic. But there was a Wipeout clone game but with guns on the Sega Saturn that we played as little anons. We are playing Fast RMX on the Switch and we can't find the fucking name of that game anywhere. We played the shit out of it when we were little virgin anons. Anyone knows this Wipeout like game for the Saturn?

>tfw hoarding pentium 4s, LCDs, peripherals I find in flea markets

I cant stop hoarding something tells me I should buy them before they become too rare to find or those I have break.

Im not a collector I genuinely want to be sure I have spares for when Im old

I do shit like this too. If I see an old console I already have at a Goodwill, but the price is cheap, I'll buy it anyway.

I was vindicated a few months ago when my main PS1 died on me. I was even able to transfer the modchip over to one of my spares.

I don't know if P4's and old LCD's are going to increase in value at all, though.

They won't and are literally useless right now.

I dont do it for money or investment. I unironically like P4s and want to secure what can play my favorite vidya.

I actually hoard everything UP TO p4's. That means I also buy older pcs if I find them for 10 or 20 bucks. Im not ok with paying hundreds as I dont care for "vintage" Ill never pay that money for a system that will just sit in my room. Especially since I can always find someone that will throw those away and give them for cheap.

I just bid for 2 more pcs, one is a win98 and one is a 486 (I want another one badly). I cant stop, its just a 10 euro bid. I have to stop but its so cheap. Tomorrow I have to pay 2 P4's.

I can understand the earlier ones for ISA and whatnot but P4s don't really have anything that a modern system doesn't.

They just convert electricity into heat and noise for the most part.

I'd say skip the 5200 the games are only a slight upgrade from the 2600 and not as good as the 7800 the controllers are badly designed and constantly break and if you get a 7800 it plays 7800 and 2600.

There's a lot you need. As a compulsive bandwagoner that's a pathetic collection. You're missing a bunch of memestream stuff and have literally nothing that validates your existence by being the lightest bit L@@K R@RE. You really need to take it up several notches if you want to talk about all that buying without broadcasting your new.

>> No.4459061

>>4459013
Speaking as someone with a fairly sizable 5200 collection I wish I had collected 8-bit computers instead e.g. an XEGS since the games are almost identical but there's like 4x as many 8-bit games just counting cart releases. The 7800 library is just plain too small to really vompare to anything.

tg16 or pc engine. Pc engine is nice and small. If you go that route, you'll need to region mod it to play tg16 games, or get a flash cart and no mod needed. Turbo everdrive is probably one of the most useful flash carts.

As a teen I never had a p4 and morrowind ran like shit. I had to wait 15 literal minutes to play UT so theyre the best for me. I promised myself my goal in life would be to play morrowind on a pentium 4 with max draw distance.

Also modern hardware is already breaking support for occasional late 90 early 2k vidya.
