Anyone ever played it here? Having a lot of fun with it so far, almost finishing it I believe.

It walks on that fine line in which it explains some of the basics and let's you swim or die on the rest, but without being too frustrating on that part. Actually gave me a nostalgia rush for 90s games on how you had to figure out stuff yourself.

Probably also works because it is not that complex of a game, despite being a strategy RPG. The difficulty seems to come rather from ammunition shortage and (when you happen to have one) ally's retarded AI.

Gotta love the aesthetic of the cut scenes and overall the entertaining story, even though some things play too much into anime clichés. But maybe that's a charming point.

The only NGPC RPG I have is Biomotor Unitron I wish I had been abit more proactive about picking these games up back in the day. Dive Alert is getting to be crazy expensive too and apparently the learning curve on it is brutal. Is Faselei really a good enough game to justify its price?

The price really only reflects the game's rarity, not its quality. Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent game for the NGPC, but I'd say if you just wanna play the game, it's not worth it. Only if you are a collector, maybe.

I own a review cartridge of this game. It never came out in america so it feels like a prototype, even if it isn't. I think it was something like a week away from release & then SNK went bankrupt. Surprisingly plays on the black & white system too. Fantastic game.

It's recycling old gundam tropes to be exact. Repeat the "training" missions enough and you get a item which unlocks the gundam clone TS which is the most power TS in the game.

Yeah, it was the 70s/80s. There's also a woman of German descent named Frau, if you missed that, they clearly had no idea what other cultures believed and just shoved things in it because it was foreign to make it feel more multicultural.

Silicon Magazine. It was a very small publication, even by Game Magazine Standards. You might have picked up one of our issues at blockbuster Video where they handed them out for free. SNK sent them out to EGM, Game Fan, etc. Pretty much any publication that asked was sent them. Shame that handheld died.
