Hi there. Today I purchased a 10$ Teal Gameboy Color from a swap meet along with a 16$ Blue Gameboy SP.
Still no luck finding one of those cool Gameboy Micros, but those are somewhat uncommon anyways.

What's your favorite Gameboy type?

GameBoy Micros are fucking amazing. However, there are too many scalpers and resellers that decide to go full on jew and sell the system, charger, and faceplate separately for ridiculous prices.

For christ sake, the Micro retailed originally for $99 and the current fair market value is still fucking $70 because of resellers and scalpers.

Gameboy Color. Mine is magenta, had it for centuries.

Lately I've been interested in getting a SP. It'd be nice, because with my GBC and regular GBA it can be hard to see due to lighting.

But it's like $40 for one on Ebay or Amazon in decent condition with a charger. And I have no income at all so that's not something I wanna spend right now...

Game Boy Advance SP AGS-101 is where it's at. Best display on a GB, plays every GB/GBC/GBA game (except Korokoro Kirby, I think), and it folds up so you can toss it in a bag without worrying about scratched screens. I love mine.

Sure the Micro can't play GB/C games, but it has something like a 50 hour battery life.
Sure the SP can play GB/C games, but they stick out awkwardly from the bottom and I'd always be wary of breaking it somehow.

It had a comfortable grip, big shoulder buttons, took batteries so that if you weren't near a wall charger you weren't screwed, and kept the see-through plastic tradition.
