Just emulate Gotzendiener if you do want to play. The game is sadly unfinished (or at least seems that way), and can be beaten in about 40 minutes if you know what you are doing. It's better if your controller can do diagonals a la Landstalker, since the PCE controller isn't great for that.

Every game bu BoFV, which isn't retro, can be emulated on the psp fine too.

There's a bit of romance with catgirl in 2 and that's all. The hero 1 married princess 1, but there's no implication of relationship inside the game, only in sequel it is mentioned that they've got together afterwards. Nothing like this in other games of the series.

The gene system really isn't that great. You really only use it in boss battles and probably use the same couple combinations every time you use it. Good concept but the execution is flawed.

I respect your opinion though, I just feel IV blows III out of the water personally.
