lets see your retro video game collections!
no PC folders, as they do not count as retro if you have to emulate it. im talking actual hardware collections! have fun and be civil!

Romance-themed town-exploration scheduling game. Go around town, figure out people's schedules, and then try to meet them at the right places during the three-week time limit.
Some conversation-choices stuff when you meet people and some point-and-click pixel hunting in parts. Also some exploring around to find jobs to do to have enough money for dates.
It's mechanically pretty simple but it does a good job of creating a feel of a town with people living their lives.

Real good up to the truck protecting level. Beyond that I have no earthly idea. I'm considering actually getting a pen & paper to mark down the pattern of the HunterKiller.
I've heard bad things about the SNES version, but I can't recall what's supposedly wrong with it. I think it has a cool 3D stage the MD one lacks, though.

Most of your collection consists of shovelware you can find at any flea market or garage sale for $1. Are these games that you actually play?

And you may want to give some consideration to imports. NA Game Boy releases are often censored, poorly translated and have removed content. I don't understand how people can consider subpar versions of these games "collectible."

Do I sense jealousy?

All the ROMs for even the extremely rare games.
They take up almost no space.
All the code is there just like in a physical cartridge.
It's almost free, just the price of the microSD card.

Who's the poorfag again? The one who wastes money on a piece of plastic or the one who has the games and keeps the money?

>Do I sense jealousy?
What's there to be jealous of? I could easily go the cheap route and emulate on my PC. I choose not to because unlike poorfags/piratefags, I can afford physical copies of games.

>Who's the poorfag again? The one who wastes money on a piece of plastic or the one who has the games and keeps the money?
>wastes money on a piece of plastic
>waste money
I think you just proved my point that you're the poorfag here. Only poorfags worry about money getting wasted. Why is that? Maybe because you have trouble keeping up with the rent, bills or both. Maybe you have trouble putting food on the table. Maybe you have trouble paying child support. You see unlike you, my income level puts me in a much better situation. I own my own house, my own car and a store selling computer parts. So I got more than enough money to afford anything I want. I got thousands of games complete in box with manuals. I got multiple game consoles. If anyone should be jealous, it's a poorfag like you who can't afford the collection I have. You see, $100 dollars to you looks like $10 to me. $1000 to you looks like $100 to me. That's the difference between our income levels.

those of you with large numbers of consoles hooked up simultaneously, how do you deal with the power cables?

I only have one outlet in the room, and obviously need more than two things plugged in at once. I've heard repeatedly that daisy chaining power strips is a bad idea. Is there a a 20-something-plus outlet power strip out there?

because its easier to put them on a shelf hooked up than it is to put them in boxes and fill up my closet?

I know that I could have them set up but not plugged in, but having to pull out the TV each time to do so would be enough of a hassle that I'd probably just leave one system hooked up and let the rest collect dust.

>I've heard repeatedly that daisy chaining power strips is a bad idea
"Don't plug a power strip/surge protector into a power strip/surge protector" is really old advice designed to stop people from overloading outlets with too many high-power appliances and incandescent light bulbs running at the same time.
There's no practical difference between a 20-outlet power strip and daisy-chainged power power strips giving you 20 outlets.
