The only reason I'd care about something like this is for playing games with friends locally.
I tend to emulate everything, but that always work for people who aren't as familiar with computers, so something like this would make playing games together more streamlined and enjoyable.
That said, a RPi emulation box would do the same thing, and better too.

The fact that it looks like a miniature model 1 Sega Genesis, the fact that I can plug in any of my Sega Genesis games & play it in HD is a good enough reason for me to buy this. I know there's only 45 Sega Genesis games, 7 SMS games & 5 Game Gear games included, but I already own most of these games & I plan on modding it. So I'm not being a sucker for buying this. I think this will be easily obtainable unlike the SNES/NES mini.

The only thing I see ugly here is the AtGames logo. Of course it's not going to be an exact replica, due to the lack of the volume button with the headphone jack in front. Other than that, it looks fine to me. Although I will say this, my RetroPi with the Sega Genesis USB hub as it's case looks way better. Either way, it's something I intend to collect.

I'm modding it the same way other modders did to their SNES & NES classic minis. I'll be adding more games to it & fix certain problems(such as how you navigate through the frickin' menu).
