There are some good , mostly non-retro movie games like Ghostbusters the Video Game, most released years later after the films though

Conversely very few good retro licensed games exists since they were rushed cash-grabs to profit from the succes of the film

The best movie licensed games were released long after their respective movies were in theatres.

Probably because they're made with passion and reverence for the source material and the devs aren't being pressed to have it done to coincide with the movie releasing.
