tell me about such saturn games. whats the one in your pic?

The one in my picture is Super Real Mahjong P7. I know the earlier SRM games on the saturn have nudity, but they're also red-label instead of yellow-label. I haven't played P7 yet.

I know for example Steam Hearts is yellow-label, which has voiced very-heavily-implied rape scenes and partial nudity throughout, but no nipples.

On the other hand, Linda^3 has full (grotesque) nudity, and it doesn't have any special markings.

Though Linda^3 may honestly well be the reason for having to put 18+ ratings on console games. Fucking masterpiece.

Yellow-label can't show nipples, but some yellow-label games (basically just KID's ports) still have full start-to-finish sex scenes with detailed erotic text descriptions and orgasmic moaning.
Other eroge ports besides KID's (EVE, Desire, YU-NO, Doukyuusei, Kakyuusei, Kuro no Dansho, etc.) were more toned down, to varying degrees. (Doukyuusei and Kakyuusei are still full of sex but fade out in the middle. YU-NO still has sex but even milder than Doukyuusei. CsWare games cut all sex almost entirely, like how modern eroge-to-conesole/handheld ports these days usually are.)
Elf's Nonomurabyouin no Hitobito, their first Saturn port, is red label but cut all sex, so you get bare breasts but then stop.
As far as I know the only Saturn game that's both red label and has actual sex in it is Can Can Bunny Premier (another KID port) but that was before they started adding voices, so I kinda feel like the voiced yellow-label KID games are more impactful even when the girls leave their underwear on in the graphics.
Steam Hearts I haven't played; not too familiar with that one--seems like it has voices but not the text descriptions KID's games do.
For strip mahjong games I don't think any on Saturn have sex in them, just red-label for nipples and yellow-label for no nipples.

Nothing too special but reasonably enjoyable.
Battles can get a little silly if you abuse the lack of any limit on stacking buffs and debuffs.

My Best Friends: St. Andrew Jogakuin is a red label game.
You solve jigsaw puzzles and depending on your performance you get more or less nudity.

I don't recall any 18+ games on the Saturn. Typically that is PC territory. I have generalized "red label" games as 'shows tits' while "yellow label" meaning suggestive themes. Red label games were released in earlier half of the Saturn's run, but to compete with the (then) Sony Playstation's "no tits policy" the Saturn no longer allowed for red label games and yellow label was as far as it can go. By the time the Dreamcast came along, all games to my knowledge were green label even though some pushed to be almost yellow label but still green label on the back.

Most of the red label games I have are strip mahjong games. While most of my yellow label games are visual novels.

In the original Playstation's time, they didn't allow explicit content. Sony also required multiplatform titles to have a unique feature not found in other versions (like a story mode in Jojo's, maybe some bonus galleries, or unique gameplay like Marvel Vs. Capcom EX). Sort of like how most titles that were on the US original Playstation shunned 2D for the longest, it was just the way the policies were for publishing on the platform. Saturn games tend to have a bit more leeway at the time for the kind of content allowed.

I meant Sony of Japan. There were a lot of multiplatform games where the Playstation edition got extra gallery modes or a story mode that were not present in even more capable hardware (like Dreamcast).

It's easily my favorite RPG of all time.

There is an asteroid about to crash into your planet, and you have 8 years to gather 2 of every species and put them on an ark. However, with the end of the world coming, everything is going to shit around you as people are trying to fulfill their desires in their last days.

The first chapter is about a cult of Santa worshippers. I don't think I've ever been so legitimately shocked and moved by anything with such a silly and consistently funny premise.

But the gameplay is legitimately fantastic too. I'd write more about it but I'm phoneposting atm.

YU-NO had a pretty funny "censorship", instead of getting a blowjob scene from your teacher in the PC-98 version and later implied sex in the woods, they just show how you undress her and fuck her in the Saturn version anyway.
