Are this & Princess Maker the only decent ones?

>> No.4304935

There's a bunch of character-training sims that take place over the span of just a year or two, but I can't think of any others about raising a child to adulthood.

People seem to like Wonder Project J2. You can also raise a girl to be a good fighter.

Hey, I own Tactical Fighter too, but I never opened it. Not sure why, it's the only game I own I never played.

It's honestly not that good. While you still have it brand new, may as well keep it that way, as I got the game really cheap, so if you're looking to play it over Princess Maker, just get a really cheap copy. There's a lot I have not played, I am honestly trying to play what I got.

In Mercurious Pretty, you raise a homunculus . It's pretty cute.

>Dreamcast Mercurious Pretty
I read that version isn't even really a raising-simulator

You read to it, allow it to rest, watch its actions, etc. I consider it a raising-simulator. I don't know what else you do in the game which makes it not a raising-sim.

It is a little less traditional than shaping Ayanami Rei to your liking.

Sorry, I realize I am the only one bumping this thread because no one else plays these kinds of games. It is an uncommon opportunity for me to talk about this game type. You have to imagine a world of constant Doom clones where everyone prefers to take their guns and shoot at every target they can. I enjoy those too but, Doom/Quake/Unreal threads are everywhere and this one has something unique to me.

Anyway, I will stop now, my laundry is done and I got to get to ironing before my shift begins. Playing videogames and 4chan posting are my only joys left from my monotonous days of flipping burgers on an anthill and killing said ants.

>>4306494
Don't do that, I took a lot of pictures and take new ones all the time for posting.

Reading up on it again, it seems I got the impression because the versions prior to the Dreamcast were more traditional Princess Maker style, where you raise just one single homunculus per game, gameplay is just scheduling without the ADV parts, and with lots of different endings.

I like character-raising sims, but I wasn't sure from OP's post if he wants raising/training sims in general or specifically many-year child-to-adult themed ones
