I love that this sentiment is still a thing in (current year). I'm 33, someone at worked mentioned something about video games to which I replied I was gonna kick back this weekend and play a new one that was just releasing, and they couldn't believe a functioning adult would debase themselves playing what has to be something for children.

I've long since given up making any rational arguments on the subject and just tell them that people older and older are playing games into their 20s and 30s, and I don't expect it to be accepted until everyone who grew up without them has died off. And sometimes, I'll make a jab about how it will eventually replace physical activity and sports to really get under their skin if I know it bothers them, because a lot of people believe that.
