Finished Octopath Traveler. /v/ tells me its like a Saga game. I've never really even heard about this series. Which would be a good one to start with?

I didn't play the demo myself, but from what gathered from the Nintendo Direct, that battle system sounded disturbingly similar to Xenosaga II's
This of course is not a good thing.

I'm not familiar with xenosaga, but using boosted buffs and dealing far more damage to an enemy than it is necessary is quite fun.
