Oops, I am kind of tired from playing so much. It is Sun, don't know why I typed Fever, was watching some gameplay of that on youtube.
I've tried to build a few combos but she moves so fast by the time get a 3 chain set up I am already being hit by garbage.

I've never played a Puyo Pyuo game. Is that one on the Switch worth a try?

You really have to get good at combo building and countering to do well at Puyo. Play on easy modes for a while and just focus on learning to build chains.

Puyo is tougher to learn to play well than say Tetris but it's really rewarding and fun once you get the hang of it. I used to be barely able to get through on easy and now anything not hard seems dull.

Only if you like a mode where you swap between tetris and puyo randomly during a match, because puyo vs. tetris mode is broken and puyo vs. puyo is identical to Tsuu rules; otherwise just get PuyoVS or MAME the arcade games. Also the characters are more obnoxious in the Sega games than they were in the Compile-era ones desu, as far as I'm concerned the series died at Fever.
