This is starting to be a meme now because newfags don't know that ZAMN is supposed to be a game you git gud at over a long period of time. It is not a game that you can git gud at over the time spent playing it. You need to get good enough that the early levels, you don't lose any survivors and you learn how to optimize your weapon usage.

zamn has been one of my fav game since childhood. Had it as a kid, then rebought it around 2007 for about $15. I checked ebay the other day for curiosity and its about $30-35. Man thats pretty wild.

But really, I'm interesting in playing this for the playstation but I don't feel like paying so much for an original copy. Is CD burning still a do-able option or would it be better to emulate it with Mednafen?

At this point there's no reason not to emulate everything PS1, with the exception of maybe stuff that uses lightguns or some exotic peripherals.
