And why wouldn't you give the obvious mage character with the animal mascot all those items, or at the very least a magic egg for each of the elements since she's obviously the mage character.
After all, they wouldn't suddenly remove a major character from the game for shallow reasons 4 hours into the adventure. That would destroy any enthusiasm for the player to build up character stats and techniques for anyone at all in the game since they could easily be taken out permanently.
What kind of game would do that in a pathetically stupid attempt to copy final fantasy 7?
