best fatality

>> No.4182837

I prefer Kano's heart rip fatality from MK1.

>> No.4182843

The best one is unquestionably the only fatality I ever managed to pull off, the one where Scorpion takes off his mask and spits a fireball.

>> No.4182904

>>4182837
yes, it's simple, kinda realistic and looks like something he would do after every fight. i like scorpion's one too

That and Sub Zeroes spine rip are the most brutal fatalities in MK. The rest are all fantasy bullshit (flame kiss, electrocution, ghost rider spitting fire, uppercutting a head clean off, etc).
I mean Sub Zero's fatality is edging on the fantasy side too, but you'd think that it's at least possible to rip a guys head off, and it comes off as impressive, rather than full-on bullshit.

>>4183949
and this is probably the most brutal fatality in all of MK Trilogy.

>legendary martial fighters with powers that are mystic or bordering on mystic should only be capable of mundane shit
Sub-Zero is basically an ice wizard in a ninja costume, like a Naruto character; that he also is among the physically strongest humans in the world already firmly puts him in "fantasy bullshit" territory, so anything he does, really, is appropriate.

I mean, Cage's fatality doesn't even suspend disbelief all that much. Those are *really* strong people.

I'm surprised that one got past the censored.

It's not a real fatality unless it explodes three torsos and twenty femurs out of a single victim.

You know, I was wondering about why they did fatalities like that, maybe they repeat the same bones over and over due to memory limitations

Man looking back it's hilarious how awful these look. Like it's seriously hard to understand the outrage

my SNES cart was glitched so you could do the fatality but it looked like he pulled out nothing

Fuck off, the system was more than capable of displaying more than enough different sprites. It was done that way just for the absurdity of it.

And that's how the ESRB was founded...just to give MK the first M rating when it came to consoles and tone down the gore...unless you got the Genesis version and did the code, but that was all MK1...MK2 was fine on consoles and just had the M rating.

Should've had Revolution X.
