I think they're fun but a bit samey. I'm not that good at any of them.

I'd like to be better but there's just something about the tether physics I can't wrap my head around. Most impressive thing I've ever done in these games is beat the crab.

Anyone who wants another platformer with surprisingly complex and sometimes frustrating tether mechanics should play Pac in Time on SNES. I think just about anyone who likes uk would like this game as well.

honestly you just haven't crossed the threshold

the game has a system where regardless of your route the game ends after 30 minutes

what you're supposed to do is pick up the game each day and wander around learning new tricks and finding new fields

you play for 30 minutes and then say "okay that's where I made it to this time"

then you stop and pick it up the next day

doing it this way you'll start to reach a really high skill level after about a month, and the game's flow really starts to kick in

once you're actually good at it, it's almost a different game, and it's hard to say if any other game really reaches the same level

who is grateful for being able to play games they have financially supported? makes no sense, they got what they wanted from the transaction. i still find it shitty just how awful a port it is, i bet i would unironically have a better experience emulating sayonara in citra. they would rather waste time adding vive support which is nothing more than an unplayable novelty for this series than to actually improve the port itself. even the shun steam port forces bilinear filtering with no way to turn it off, unlike the original game's steam port, it is inexcusable. i feel like ive wasted my money buying a bundle because only the first game is an improvement in any way over the original. however i am an autistic fuck who cannot even get interested in the newest game's port because of it's glaring flaws. still though i am not going to mindlessly slurp up the shits they take, i played the game before they bothered localizing anything after all so fuck them i know where their priority lies

All three games are on the vita. Sayonara is bundled with an improved version of the SNES game that has the original music (as opposed to the DS ver with weird synthesizers), the more accurate timer, and a stage select.

Then, Shun 2nd edition is available on (Japanese) PSN as a PS1 classic. Same deal with the DS version, the audio quality is better (no weird ds synthesizers) and the graphics are less compressed.

It's a pretty minor series, both in Japan and overseas. I don't think it'll be profitable no matter what they do. The most exposure it ever got was on that Game Center CX episode.

I'd sure like for more people to know about it though.

A new game would be nice, but I wouldn't want it on the switch. If there was one, it'd probably be switch/ps4 though, considering Blade Strangers.

Meh I thought so.
I knew Sayonara came bundled with the SFC ver but I may as well play Shun on my PSP if I have to go through the effort of topping up my jap psn account.

If you want high resolution Umihara with bouncing breasts, there's that fighting game coming out.

With boobs as big as that, Umihara should consider a side job as a wet nurse.

What is the deal with wet nurse anyway? Is there a dry nurse I don't know about?

I tend to play with that layer disabled, even though it also takes away the waves on top of the water.

Either Hatoba theme (the dock themed stages) or the song it plays when you beat the game in Shun.

too bad repros are a meme (plus, most of them don't save, meaning you won't be able to keep your sick replays)

They also did a Super Famicom soccer game in 1995.
