From past threads I've seen on /vr/, 64 is noticeably more well regarded than BTN - it just does a better job with atmosphere and comfiness.

I have always enjoyed BTN more. It seems like there is more to do, and the days are too short in 64. It's closer to the original in that regard.

I will say that the atmosphere is much better in 64 though. The characters make more sense too. It seems like they changed everyone's role, personality, and family around in BTN for no reason. Karen as a mild-mannered grocery store girl? No thank you.

Take that with a grain of salt, as /vr/ is somewhat of a Nintendo hugbox. Look elsewhere on the net (especially reviews) and you'll see BtN is more well-regarded than 64.
