What is the best kind of stand to get for displaying a gameboy?

Recently picked up these phone stands without realise how small they actually were. The gameboys are too thick/top heavy to stand up on them, but they are perfect for the games.
Looking for something similar but for the gameboy/pocket/colour itself.

dude people get glass display cases like you'd see at a store for their house. so they can make an epic shrine to gaming

Here you go.It's wiiu gamepad stand, you'll find one on ali, it fits a lot of portables - PSP, any ds, 3ds, vita, gbc - except GBA, it's too thick to fit properly

I use them a lot so having them on a shelf works best for me. But I don't want them just lying on the shelf on their backs.

>>4104730
An epic shrine to gaming is going too far in my opinion. That's more of a collector thing, and not for someone who wants to use them frequently.

>>4104742
Pretty good idea, especially for how I want quick and easy access to them. But it takes up a little too much space for me at the moment.

>>4104750
That's looks like it might be perfect! The shelves I want to put them on are narrow (it's for cds really) but just about fits two gameboys, so by the looks of it that stand would fit perfectly.

Forgot to ask. Is the "tray" part big enough to fit an original gameboy?

No, definitely not. It kinda catches on a slot between halves of the shell and stands just fine, but it's not perfect

Damn. Thanks for taking the time to check though. Bought one for the gameboy pocket and gameboy colour, so at least they can go on the shelf for now

this has got to be the gayest thing i have ever seen in my life, it's a gameboy it doesn't need a stand.

What the hell is that Link's Awakening cartridge? I've only ever seen gold, and the full-color Japanese cartridge. Is black a PAL thing?

Business card holders. The cheap metal ones, you can find at big department stores in the office supply section? You can bend them a bit and they're perfect for displaying almost anything

Yurop. You can tell by the fact that the shown games don't have ESRB ratings, and the Nintendo seal is also circular and says Original Nintendo Seal of Quality, while the US seal at that time just said Official Nintendo Seal and was oval shaped. The Oracle of Ages cart also has EU law compliance logos on it.

Spreading your games out on stands is gonna take up more space than stacking them. Don't try to justify this retarded shit. Put your gay shit away in a drawer.

You don't have a few favorite games that are on display somewhere, away from the rest of the collection?

I really like the aesthetic of the cassette covers that got popular a few years back. I've done it to a few of my games

Now that's pretty cool, making spines for your collection while not taking excess amounts of space. Do you have a site for these?

I have a case for the games. The picture was just to show what I bought, and how it is the a size that's perfect for games, but not for gameboys.

>>4108262
This is really cool, and would work really nicely on the shelves I have.

Making the inserts is super easy as well.

Honestly, cases like this for GB/GBC/GBA and DS are a fucking waste of space.

Use a binder. It makes cataloging them just as easy, and it's like 20x more space efficient.

Anyone who is buying those is doing it for the aesthetics and not for the practicality

So do you also have all your disc games in a CD Binder? Anything more is a waste of space, after all.

I have a original clear case for my DMG that has slots for games too. It's pretty sweet and would recommend looking it up. Only about 20 bucks for a nice clean display

How? If you have them in alphabetical order, with the name clearly visible on the spine then it's easy and quick to find a game.
