Then that one smartass figures out the handshake but starts handing out the secret to all the kids in the neighborhood, until clubhouse isn't so secret anymore.

Also, the fewer people know about these safe Emulator databases, the less chances Nintendo is going to drop the hammer on them. So it's a good idea to keep them hush-hush.

download a fullset (there's several at archive.org, and emuparadise might even still have them up but I can't be arsed to check), disk is cheap and you can fit basically every pre-5th gen cartridge-based system's full romsets (individually zipped, since most remotely decent emulators let you load zipped roms) on a 32GB microSD
too lazy to do the math again, but I'm pretty sure you'd even have a fair bit of room to spare

man, the state of Saturn rips is awful
US ones are okayish, but there's a bunch of JP games that are either poorly dumped or hard to find if they're dumped at all (can't find JP Wipeout XL for Saturn anywhere and ended up burning the PAL version -- playing at 1.2x speed is actually pretty damn exciting, but it'd be nice to have an actual NTSC Saturn version).

>>4058421
the libraries of most systems suck if you play through every single game, but the raw convenience of being able to have every game for a machine on access at any time is amazing, no worrying about shit getting taken down since you already have it
like, out of 600+ Genesis games, there's like 30 I play regularly

Looks like it's time to download complete sets for every Nintendo system prior to the Gamecube. Even if I don't play them and have no plans on doing so until I actually buy the consoles along with their respective flashcarts, at least I'll have it.

What tracker is that?

Nice to see some PSX scene releases are still kept. Reminds me of the good painful old days of downloading multiple rars over DCC with a shitty dial up connection.

Emuparadise is garbage anyway, I never used that site for my rom needs.

Speaking of which I can throw a stone and hit 6 other romsites or more. Don't act like this is a big deal, because it's not.

Ugh, DCC+ was the "entry level, experience needed" of p2p.
>You must share 100gb+ to access the download hub
Bitch all of my media is strewn across 100mb Zips and CD-Rs.

this
roughly i have
1TB of music,
500GB of games,
100GB of porn pics,
200GB of porn vids
30GB of books
20GB of funny pictures and what not since 1995

i would say books are the ones you can never consume entirely, i would torrent that 500GB book dump but im maxed out.

Yeah, I have no intro up through n64 (I think that's all of them) but I was wanting to get the fullset for semi archival purposes. I managed to find a set up through NES of GoodSet though.

>cbr rips
this, it fucking pisses me off see people group photos in PDF, most retarded format for that.
pdf only supports images saved as jpeg-like compression or as lossless compacted format, depending on the software you use to create said pdf, whatever jpegs you added even get resampled,

cbz/cbr, which are just zip/rar renamed, are the logical formats, its really dumb OS distributions dont pack an image viewer capable handling them so that laymen could adopt it. even desktop OS that pack with retarded viewing of zips as folders, when trying to open an image inside, you cant get pagination,

I know, there was a complete pdf rip on Demonoid a few years ago but the quality was pretty awful, not the uploaders fault.

There's a few issues here:
chrome-extension://bigefpfhnfcobdlfbedofhhaibnlghod/mega/secure.html#F!H14DFYII!uHsw0iqDMOAtbfp1ScxbzQ

I believe Archive.org used to host a complete set in both cbr and pdf. People rarely share anything other than porn on here nowadays so am not holding out much hope desu.

honestly though, im a mentally ill digital hoarder, but even i wouldn't waste time hoarding nintendo power, seriously, its rom dumps and manuals for me and thats it, burn the cardboard.

its just previews for games you have at the reach of your hand, whats the appeal?

Nintendo made very little to no effort to market and sell in the European and South American markets. Which is why SEGA blew Nintendo out of the water in those markets.

Nintendo basically was like, we only care about Japan and the US and fuck everyone else.

And if Nintendo actually cared about the retro market they would go out of their way to make a store that works for the market, not against it. Entire retro library available on day one across every Nintendo platform.

In the meantime, search The Pirate Bay or Demonoid for "Golden Age of Video Games - Age of the Cartridge v2.9"

Maybe I'll return to posting retrogame torrents on /t/ but I haven't been there for over a year as it turned back into JAV central sadly.
