nearly everything on the 32X is better elsewhere since nearly everything good on it is ports
the one exception I can think of off-hand is Virtua Racing Deluxe, since none of the better looking home ports handle anything like the arcade, VRDX at least tries (VRDX is also like the most polished thing on the system)

Chaotix is really pretty, sounds brilliant, and plays like shit. Same goes for Tempo.

machine isn't too bad, if not too good (two cheap-ass PWM DACs for stereo digital audio, a big chunk of RAM to use as a double-buffered high-color framebuffer, two fairly quick CPUs to drive the above and the Genesis is left to do background art and FM sound -- the issue is that there's fuck-all that's hardware accelerated on the machine, it's got a memory fast-fill to speed up software polygon drawing and that's it)
even the rushed as hell Doom port isn't too bad by console port standards other than the music, keeps a fair framerate
but there's basically no reason to bother with the clunky mushroom when most of the things worth playing on it are better played on something else
