One thing is to not like World as much as some of the others, another thing is to dislike it because "the cape breaks the game". That's a meme.
I find it hard to believe that people who like the Mario series can dislike World, but then again this is the internet, people love posting hyperbole opinions online.

I prefer 3 over World, but there are a lot of things about World that I like and wish that 3 had. Save states are an obvious one. You might not always feel like beating the entire game in one go every single time. Revisiting levels is another. You only get to beat World 5-3 once and that's not a lot of time to enjoy the Goomba's Shoe.

I enjoy super Mario world and what it has to offer, but my favourite is the original Mario bros. it's simple game play coupled with the two player help or harm your buddy element appeals to me more.

I can't get past this level and you guys lied to me, I can't use the flying cape to get past it.

Just did this for /v/ because someone said it was impossible to get a yoshi through cheese bridge secret exit since you have to fly under or get the double jump and sacrifice yoshi.
