WW2 GI (build engine)
and Nam also called Napalm - same engine

Shogo was the first FPS game I could play without throwing up from motion sickness. I'd always pick the mech with the power pole or whatever.

Original Game had one of the best storylines I have ever seen. Didn't care for the sequel, but still played it.

The gog version for some reason will not work on windows 7.

Chasm: The Rift

It's actually a 2.5D engine. They used 3D models for all the moving objects, and placed them around the map to fake 3D details.

Shoot, I play quite a number of games just fine on Windows 8. Some games need some tweaking but they work just fine out of the box mostly.

The game won't even start anymore. I get a small black box that says Shogo and "not responding" before it eventually crashes. Strangely enough the first time I run it after an install it works fine. Its when I start the game again after exiting it will no longer work.

Chasm is rather simple, but totally worth giving a shot.
