Wizardry 6
automappers were a good thing and i'm glad they exist

>> No.3897627

>>3897621
Thanks, I need to play 6, after that the graphics became unbearable.
>automappers were a good thing and i'm glad they exist
I agree, but right now I'm looking for something without it.

What's wrong with wiz7 and wiz8? I love wiz8's talking heads even if the 3D models are dodgy for 2001 standards.

My eyes hurt, I mean literally, not trying to be an asshole, I can't play it because of it.

I play it on a 4:3 screen but I assume everything is getting stretched out for you in Wiz8? There should be a mod somewhere to fix that.

>>3897645
Yeah, I should fix my CRT, but I don't know if it's even worth it, maybe I can find a cheap one online.

Grabbed mine still in packaging on ebay because I didn't feel like vising parking lots at 9PM to get a potentially fucked up one.

I still have three CRTs in my attic, but they are most likely screwed.

I never could get into M&M, I love Heroes, but this never held me, I even played Xeen as a kid, but I can't play it now.

None of them require it. I play maze RPGs that people claim require making maps without maps and I do just fine. My memory ain't that great but I manage, why do so many resort to the crutch that is mapping?

have you played through all the wizardry games?

Probably, I really would like to play it, but I just let it go after 10 minutes.

Oh, nice, I just found out I can buy a CRTs for 2 bucks in my country.

No RPGs require mapping paper. Only faggots with female goldfish brains do.

Realms of Arkania is great, and Land of Lore, only thing about it I don't like are pregenerated PCs.

>> No.3899845

Not necessarily but they need a GPS to get around and even then have to stop and ask for directions.
