A new Momotaro Densetsu game, directed and produced by Akira Sakuma was released, not to mention that Nintendo served as publisher, the game manage to sell around 350.000 copies to date the game was release back in mid January, i fucking hope that Nintendo keep on bringing this old developers to revive the franchise they created.

So, yeah... I like Bonk but I like Wonder Boy more. Maybe we should talk about, like, Hudson's weird relationship with Sega in the mid to late '80s? Because that still is foggy for me.

I read a fantastic article about Segas relationship with Hudson & Westone when I was researching Dragons Trap mechanics a couple of years back. The article seems to have been well and truly buried in wake of the new Dragons Trap remake, but I'll find it for you somehow.

I'd love to read it, it's so weird that Wonder Boy 1 was a Sega game that Hudson adapted just slightly into a flagship game line for the NES but then they whiplashed and were literally the heart and soul of the PC-Engine yet still published games on other consoles. I would for sure enjoy more insight into their strategy because it always just seemed like they really loved making games and making them available to gamers.
