It's not like it's a terribly hard game to make.
Besides, now he has a free version to play.

And he probably didn't code in the bullshit money requirements that block winning

I always tried to go rainman on stacker and get all the girls to like me by winning all the vaguely expensive outdated electronics.
I never won, as you could have guessed.

There's a stacker near me that still has PSP's and ipod nano's in it.
The prize payout must be set at several thousand dollars.

Yeah.
They aren't skill based at all.

They have a internal counter, and will only payout every so many games, typically around 500-800 plays for the top prize.
Obviously you have to be good enough to get to the top, but if it's not a pay round and you do get to the top, it will add just enough input delay to the last block so that it misses.

What a scam. I must have dropped $30 over the course of my childhood in that damn machine.

I've timed it perfectly to land one on the top before but when it did it just paused, went "fuck you" and moved to the next spot.

Yeah, I know. Part of my autism made me learn that like all prize based games like this are rigged like that. Still though, if you are at an arcade and its one of those spinning jackpot games, sometimes it can be worth it to keep your eye on it and if no one makes it go off the whole time, you can hit it up at the end of the day and see if youre the lucky duck.
>>3856349
lmao, more likely dudes just stopped trying long ago

I always thought I was just unlucky when I'd get to the very, very last piece consistently before fucking up. When I got older and learned those things were flat out fucking rigged I got a little upset.

>>3856359
Fuck. I didn't know that. I thought I just had some good reflexes and response timing from the time I did win. Explains why I'd get almost to the top every time and some how choke.

I can't find another thread to put this in: does anyone know which game that is on the far left below Pokemon Gold? The one in a case?
