Actually got Sega Bass Fishing as a Christmas present and was pissed. Sure I liked fishing in real life but in a video game? Figured my mom bought it because she was cheap and it was on sale.

I always had a soft spot for Reel Fishing, but most would probably say it's a pretty terrible game. I do like it, but the later stages are very tedious. I had the sequel as well, but never really got into it.

Saltwater Sportfishing is an obscure gem. It's fast-paced, arcade-style fishing and a seldom seen king of the genre.

I've almost never touched any fishing minigames, so by default I have to pick Big from Sonic Adventure, because the game forced me to play as him to unlock the final boss.

I always gotta recommend Big Ole Bass for the PS1 in these threads. There's a mode where you catch crazy beast fish in a post-apocalyptic world. Pic related.
