Tomb Raider. The first one. Seriously, if you haven't beaten the game, its hard to refute this answer. I remember beating it while sitting on my futon with a comfy ass CRT. Tomb raider is wonderful, coming from an experienced PS1 collector. It's seriously the best action adventure / horror game I own.

It has that perfect balance. Other games typically go into either kiddy platformers and lose the adventure aspect or they dive into mech fighting. And that horror element in Tomb Raider which is certainly there is an insanely awesome bonus.

You might like Tail Concerto (WARNING: Expensive AF)

Whimiscal Halloween themed stuff is personally top comfy for me, so maybe I'm biased. But it's definitely a great 3D adventure/platformer. The graphics add to the vibe of the game for me

The game is top tier. Even if Rage Mountain and Fancy Mel's place will make make you angry.

Harry Potter 1 and 2.

Maximum comfy adventure games with amazing soundtracks. Make for a very relaxing time.

Both are amazing... and the second game has a lot of additonal completionist content to explore and find (but don't skip the first game!)

>> No.3828459

>>3827861
Totally agree. I'm still waiting for a sequel (don't mention the fan chinese game) to happen, but I guess I'm grasping onto thin air these days.

I actually really like Fancy Mel's platforming sections. They are pretty hard, probably for the wrong reasons, but the whole level is charming in a weird way. However, the Mountain area is fucking crazy. If we are talking about the same place, the boss fight on the cliffs with those two (forget names) is unreal.

Have you ever played Dragon Valor? I feel like they share some similarities.
