Remember that episode of Doug; where Doug played video games all weekend and didn't do his homework?

Admit it, you did the exact samething.

Doing homework is for the handicapped, I played video games all the time and did the homework like 5 minutes before going to school or right before the teacher asked for it.

I never had that problem until I left school and now I play video games all weekend while ignoring important shit like cleaning my house, mowing my yard, or fixing the bathroom door's rusted hinges. I don't feel like doing shit once I get home from work.

I was also that way like "lol school is ez" but that fucked me up when it came to advanced math because I hadn't disciplined my mind on the fundamentals. I'll be making my kid do his math homework.

I was fucking terrible in school, and part of that probably was how little I did homework. I could never pay attention in class and barely ever did homework, when I was home I just played videogames.

My gpa was probably less than 2 when I was in high school, if I'd had even one letter grade lower than what I got my final semester I would've had to repeat a year.

Despite my low grades and my counselor telling me id never go anywhere in life, I'm starting a job in web development next month that has a six figure starting salary. I'm sure someone here will tell me that's nothing, but I'm very happy with it.

I probably wouldn't have the interest in computers that I do without videogames, so I guess it worked out.

I never really had that problem.
In fact, I flat out didn't do homework but I don't know why.
I would get top grades on everything in-class, but homework always brought my grades down to like a C. Even knowing this, I couldn't force myself to do homework, it just didn't matter to me at the time. Sure wish I did though.

Doug was an active show up until 1999.
If you aren't old enough to have watched it, you're legitimately not old enough to post on 4chan, let alone have any input on /vr/.

Did the same for most of my live up untill college, also movies, music and fiction books, but mostly games, basically anything that wasn't studying:
>Playing games every day, doing homework in the last possible moment
>family: "Anon, we are happy to help you with your studies but you are going to have trouble in the future if you keep up like that"
>college, phonographic production
>homework actually damand a lot more
>"meh, i can do it"
>drag myself through most of it
>shit is getting actually hard now, will have to present a final paper in a year, everyone already started working on theirs, i have no idea what to talk about
>a few intership groups show up in college, you would work for a teacher and help produce in exchange for credits
>first teacher turns me down, i was not that good at recording
>second teacher turns me down, i was not that good at editing video
>"fuuck, i'm not going to get any credits nor finish my paper..."
>regreting all that time playing and reading about games...
>third teacher calls me for an interview
>teacher: So Anon, what games you like?
>WAIT, WHAT? (family couldn't believe either)
>next few hours debating 90'a and 2000's games, occasionally movies and music
>teacher: here's the deal Anon, we are going to produce audio for games, want to work with us?
>HELL YEAH
>spend next year working with game audio
>realise i'm now studying without feeling it, quite gaming for reading about games and gaming
>decide to talk about game audio on my paper
>same teacher (who's a real bro) becomes my advisor
>debate with him all day every day about game audio
>some stuff i said ends up in his doctorate paper
>my paper gets straight 10 across the board
>teacher: Anon, you have what it takes, you should have your own master's degree
>keep writing about game audio, the university likes it
>now working on my master's degree about sound immersion in games

Everything went better than expected.

I remember this strange phenomena occurring where the homework/project I didn't get done the entire class ended up not doing and the teacher post poning the due date. I would also never do homework till the last minute, even for exams but still get passing grades. The work was so easy though our school education system was built for retards
