I dunno, but I feel like every time I hear it lately, people pronounce it as "Seh-guh". Which to me says they have to be underage, or don't actually play games. Because if you read it off a page for the first time, that's a logical pronunciation. But if you'd ever played one of the many games where they scream it over the logo, then you know that's wrong.

So I guess ultimately it's just that people never played the games.

I think every part of America, South or North, says 'se' as 'say'. I would never read the letters 's' 'e' as 'se'. Always as 'say'. And when I hear it or say it, I see only the letters 's' and 'e' in my head. I don't see a 'y' at the end. Not until this thread did I even think about it that way.

There's a lot of neat tricks to make your playthrough easier and certain paths through pages mean you spend less health to break stuff.

I can usually get to chapter 3 before dying but you get an extra life or two by then so it's pretty easy to finish even with dropping from the chain to get the ?'s in the water inbetween all the mines in 3-whatever which half the time end up being explosive that royally fuck you up because they cause a chain explosion with you in the middle.
