Their magazine was the shit during the NES and SNES era. It started to get awful when the Nintendo 64 was around, and I quit reading it in pure disgust when they started to include Mexican slang and inside jokes only their Mexican readers can figure out.

Sorry bro but after reading a lot of them in the scan depot I can confirm it was always crap, it's just when we were little we cared more about the games that the actual quality of the magazine.

False information (they relied a lot on their own suppositions and personal opinions and used them as legit info)

Bad screenshot quality even by the N64 era.

Outright lying to us the readers into buying crap games (because they had an alliance with Gamela, the game distributor of the country at the time) just to make us BUY BUY BUY.

Sure you might argue "duh, it's a NINTENDO magazine" but even then how much of a fanboy you have to be to refuse to call Sega or Sony by their names or literally saying "when other company does it is bad but when Nintendo does it it's good".
I still remember when they said Sega was running out of ideas by calling their consoles "Sega ____" when Nintendo was and still is less original with "Nintendo ______".

Hating sequels for being actually good (I remember Panteon hating on Megaman X4, X5 and X6 because according to him "it looks too flashy now". Basically, he hates the game for not being released originally on Nintendo.

I could go on and on but you'll realize better by just reading.

The treated Super Mario Sunshine and Kirby Air Ride like Jesus' second coming to earth and now they hate it.

Also, actually thinking Nintendo did good with the Wii U.
