Why do you keep repeating this? You've never played a good layout hack before? If you really like a game, those hacks are some of the bests. Not every layout hack is savestates, deathpits and pixel jumps.

Try Chaos Control for SMB3 for instance.

Good game IIRC. Great graphics, better than the likes of Rockman 7 & 8 FC demakes in which you'll see bleeding / incomplete tiles every 2 screens.

Indeed, Rokko-chan is a really good megaman fangame, not the best one (I think that this title should be for Megaman Unlimited if we're talking about a standalone game or Rockman 4 Minus Infinity if we are talking about rom-hacks) but still a fun game with good gameplay/music and decent difficulty, just what megaman should be.

This hack fixes some of the bad rushed level design in MM3, fixes bugs, removes slowdown, and adds an intro cutscene into the game. It's better than the original in every way imaginable.
