And just for the record, these people and threads won't go away just because we include muh halo and muh 6th gen console wars, the kind of threads that will take the hit and become harder to discuss and maintain alive will be older stuff like 2nd gen, retro computers and pinball threads, which are more retro than the PS2 or Xbox.

There's also lots of Sonic threads, Megaman threads, Castlevania threads. Popular series get multiple threads. It's not like we can run off of videogames to discuss, and by adding 6th gen, popular IPs will keep on getting posted. Hate Zelda threads? Get ready for Wind Waker vs OOT shitposting and of course, we can't forget about

/v2k/ was the best consensus we came up with. It's not a bad idea at all, /vr/ is actually pretty fast now, it's faster than older boards. /v/ is the board with most traffic after /b/, it makes sense it'd be split in multiple boards. /v2k/ wouldn't make any harm, we would be able to discuss 6th gen and any non-current gen, so we'd be able to discuss 7th gen right away as well, and nobody would argue semantics about what's "retro" or not.
If we allow 6th gen on /vr/ it will be pretty silly seeing the same people who pushed for 6th gen arguing with younger people demanding 7th gen.

Not really, a few years ago a thread on /vr/ could stay for a few days even with a few replies, nowdays the pace is much faster, especially during weekends, threads with few replies might not last more than 24 hours. There's a lot of other boards that are slower than /vr/.

Stick with characters who cannot permanently die. look up a guide to see if S-rank rewards are worth the effort.

Its an okay tactics game, still a weak suikoden game overall.
