You should be able to pick up an N64 controller shaped PnP Famiclone for under $10 and some good ass chinese multicarts for like $5 each (it'll probably come with an ok multicart). Buy one with a zapper built in for some legit crt raster light gunning

Atari Flashback 2 is a legit VCS inside kind of like the C64 DTV. Colecovision and Intelivision Flashbacks let you experience consoles you probably wouldn't otherwise play in close-to-original format with replicas of their original controllers which is part of the experience

>FireCore "Genesis" with SD slot
Hit these up for cheap ass easy peasy 16 bit gaming. Sound is shit and save games don't work period even in games that are supposed to save (often even crash) but the Genesis library is still vast and great there's even a FireCore with its own screen but the inaccuracy of these consoles brings you into the range of "maybe I should just emulate"

Famiclones are pretty accurate like I said a dirt cheap N64 controller shaped Famiclone with a zapper attachment and some $5 aliexpress multicarts is a killer bargain. Other than those three (and sort of FireCore) no there aren't any more real SoaC clones that I know of. Most just run Famicom ports of games on Famiclone NoaCs because they're super cheap.

If the success of the AVS is indicative hopefully we'll see more FPGA clones of consoles that may in turn create roadmaps for better cheap system-on-a-chips to start being cranked out assuming the market proves to be there.

C64DTV's are golden. Highly-hackable and can be made into legit small-scale modern C64's.

The Namco ones have the best inputs for Pole Position. Worth it for that alone.

The Sega Genesis Radica units are actual Genesis on a chips. Easy to add cart slots to.

Likewise the Atari Flashback 2. it's a real atari 2600 in there.
