Game of the 90s is probably Street Fighter II or Final Fantasy VII, depending on whom asked. I'll be happy to give DKC Top 5 Platformer on SNES, but I think it's stretch to go any farther.

I just finished all SNES DK games and they are all wonderfull.

3 was my first game ever and i don't get why it's hated so much when it's very similar to 2.

2 is the best of the series and even though i just got 100% i want to play it again, that's how good of a game it is.

1 is alright but i don't like it as much as 2 and 3, but it does have a better final boss than 3.

2 is the game of the decade.

It was chosen as "Game of the Year" in 1994 but honestly, even in that year there have been several interesting releases like Doom 2, Super Punch Out, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong for the gameboy and Sonic 3 just to name a few.

Even in its trilogy, I believe DKC2 and DKC3 would be better contenders and even then, they'd probably be top 15 on the SNES or top 5 in SNES platformers at best. The 90s had a ton of video games worth mentioning. Hell, this board alone has several threads about different videogames from the 90s that are bumped frequently. DKC is a lot of things but game of the decade is probably not one of them.

It's still has the best music I ever heard in a game.
