I'm not a collector, I emulate almost everything I don't have instead of buying it. But I never sold any of my games, so I have a pretty huge collection of good games. There are a bunch of items I own that could be considered rare or very sought after, but since I'm not really a collector, they aren't prized to me.

So my most cherished possession would probably be my arcade accurate Beatmania IIDX controller, since it still gets used frequently a decade after purchase, and is basically irreplaceable to me.

video game wise, unopened bubble bobble 2 and SMB3

my aunt pretty much had a NES since it was released in the US, she didn't have any kids. she had a good job and had money to burn. she bought games she already had forgetting she lent out a previous copy and had multiple copies of some games. as she got older she even forgot what she had at her house, when she died we found about 20 unopened games still in plastic. retarded cousin started opening the boxes. SMB3 and bubble bobble 2 were all i could grab before she opened them.

my aunt had 4 copies of SMB3 sealed, 3 were opened besides bubble bobble 2, they were the most expensive ones. 2 copies of b52 i can't really remember much more than that, but there was around 20 sealed games.

i know a sealed SMB3 went for $1500 a few years ago, bubble bobble 2 the game alone is like $400. my copies will never see the market, both are locked away in a safety deposit box.

i told other realatives that my retarded cousin just wasted a about $10,000 easy. her excuse was because of her age and poor parents she never got the chance to open a new game before so she wanted to know how it felt

Back when BK had their Nintendo toy line, I think it was 2002, my mom took me and my older brother to get a bag of toys. No food, just the toys.

We knew about the gold possibilities but didn't care about them or even think we had a chance. I just wanted the Link toy.

I don't remember how many we opened that day but it was around 10.
For getting a golden toy you also got a free GBA game after filling out a small card that came with it too.

Couple weeks go by and we got ALTtP in the mail. We already had that game but we got to do multiplayer with Four Swords. Sadly we didnt keep the game but ive always and will always keep this toy.

I read somewhere there between 5,000 to 10,000 total gold ones but I haven't found any confirmation.

A VHS tape that recorded cartoons broadcasted in the 1980's on Canadian TV. Has everything from obscure shorts that are somewhat hard to find now online to DTV's Valentine and Halloween specials.

My most cherished game is Forbidden Memories. Quite a few memories attached to that game for me. It's not the most expensive one in my collection, but the most meaningful.
