You have to get the Cheers Matchbook item in your inventory at the start of the game. Then open your inventory outside the apartment on the street, go to the matchbook and press L to examine it 4 times in a row. It'll make a sound. Back on the main screen, move Frasier underneath the shadow of the 4th lamp post away from his apartment and press L.

The matchbook now becomes an item that can warp you to the cheers bar at any time, and aside from having ALL of the characters from the show, it also has every liquor item in the game, an endless supply of coffee, and a free set of tickets to all the optional shows (my favorite is the Opera with pretty much anybody, but it's also funny to see the Taming of the Shrew with Roz or Hamlet with Dad and Eddie)

Likewise, this thread has pushed Niles and Daphne into my subconscious. I've never even watched a single episode of this fucking show, but suddenly I'm invested in their relationship. I swear this thread has voodoo powers.

It's pretty horrible how many of these fake games seem pretty damn awesome

I mean, could you imagine being super man on the Nintendo 64? Sounds awesome doesn't it? Why isn't this a thing?

the SNES soundchip did a good job (for the time) of recreating the instruments of the song

but the thumping synthesizer arrangement they did for the Genesis version was amazing, and a great use of the YM2612

That postgame stuff they added was fantastic, particularly the Newman superboss fight, so it's absolutely worth mentioning as the definitive Seinfeld experience. Even if we are a retro board, we still have to recommend the definite way to play a game.
