Heretic thread.

Properly started playing this today and completed the first 2 episodes. Working through 3 right now. How do you feel about this game? I find it an enjoyable substitute for Doom.

It's D&D Doom + some. After playing Doom I just didn't feel like playing Heretic all that much. Although it's comfy.

I loved it and it is without a doubt my favorite Doom clone. Hexen is a bit different in style but I guess it would count as a Doom clone to so I also like that game. Heretic and Hexen are fantastic games and the best Doom clones. I also regularly listen to Heretic soundtrack.

I guess this is true but I still enjoyed the game and made use of most weapons. The firemace was trash.
