Always Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Sanic, Shinobi, always the same posts about how Alex Kidd used to be Sega's mascot until Sanic stole his spotlight and how Sega should come back to the hardware market, all with thousands "likes".

One may think that emulation was not popular in Hueland, and that's why BRs miss the old games so much. But emulation has been popular in Hueland since the nineties, while Genesis was still being manufactured and sold. We even had some BRs active in the emulator and hacking scene.
Everyone can buy a second hand Genesis for pennies, but brazilians asked for another Genesis re-release and they're thankful for it. They LIKE Tectoy and they pay big money for anything labeled as "retro".

It´s not a bad clone, TecToy is the only offical Sega representative outside Japan,
Tectoy translated several games to Portuguese, which was rare at the time. Translated games include the first three Phantasy Star games, Shining in the Darkness, and Riven, the last of which also incorporated dubbed voices.
Tectoy have made unique ports and even developed original games. These include ports of Street Fighter II for the Master System and Duke Nukem 3D for the Mega Drive/Genesis, as well as developing an original Woody Woodpecker game for the Mega Drive and Master System. More recently they released two Mega Drive titles based on Show do Milhão — a TV game show hosted by Silvio Santos in the same vein of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

MegaDriver was launched in 1989, the opening of the international electronics market took place in 1991.
The ingenuity of the Brazilian of which I am speaking is to reverse engineering consoles and computers to circumvent the restrictive laws and produce equipment here. Duke Nukem is an example of how good we are, making a port of a computer game just 2 years after launch .
