You're not prepared for negative 40-60f cold snaps, 4 hours total daylight on a clear day, 12" snowfalls, solid ice roadways and downed trees in the driveway, armoring up your house and plugging in your car so they don't freeze solid and still having to go about your normal business during it all. Life is tough out here senpaicom.

Just putting snow chains on the car to make the hill after a blizzard can be extremely difficult in the arctic darkness.

There's benefits too though, this is right out the front door. And not at all uncommon to have wildlife come right up to the house if it's quiet.

Is there weed in that beige bag?

Here's when the mitsu was downstairs, its on casters so it was easy to roll it into the utility room when it wasn't getting used.

My family bought most of it new, I'm the only Retro guy so I got most of it all gratis. My aunt has an original SMS CIB she won't let go of for anything though. She's 52? and still plays it.

The TV's I keep ads on craigslist and scour every church, garage, yard sale and craigs post. Found a few games and consoles too. I drove 60 miles round trip to pick up the Mitsubishi tv. Shopping online is a killer because shipping can be silly expensive.

All the local game stuff has dried up though, people are hip to the scene now.

It bugs me I will never find a pro monitor here though, the military and local hospital did away with CRTs years before I even knew they were special. I might snap one day and by a Makvision tri mode monitor and build an enclosure for it. Until then it's s-video life.

Denali is beautiful. I think about moving away but I don't even know what I'd do in a city. THe house in the upper left is my closest human neighbor. They are 1/2 mile + away

A: is The Virtua stick HSS 0104
Decent stick with short throw distance but the buttons are only so so. I like it for my Saturn shooting however.

B: is Hori Fighting stick HPS 07
Decent stick. Nothing spectacular. From my understanding they did plastic versions of this one as well but mine's all metal.

C: Hori non retro tekken x360 fighting stick. Don't really use this one since i don't own many arcadey titles for the 360.

None of the sticks are premium high class sticks but they do the job... for me atleast.

>>3587678 I work in a gold mine of course. 4 on 3 off ~48 hours a week. 12 hour days are no joke but sometimes I get to do wildlife watch where I drive around in a truck and shitpost all day because the mine has a cellular repeater and wifi. Oh and I honk at animals. I used to be a line cook when I moved back here in but $12-15/hr doesn't provide a very good life up here. If you had a roomate it would be fine though.

I only live about 30 minutes from the second largest city in alaska, we have plenty of food service jobs and I believe McD's starts @ $10/hr now. PFD is getting tanked though was only $800 per person this year and I wouldn't count on it in the future. used to be $1-2k ea.

It also takes a year to get residency if you change your ID and voter registration right away. so you won't get a check until your 2nd year.

You could get into the MJ industry. We just legalized and testing is underway to certify grow ops and dispensaries. Food background would be good experience as you know cleanliness and can multi task and work with shifting deadlines and have an eye for AESTHETICS.

Fairbanks is looking to be the heart of MJ in Alaska as Anchorage Zoning and Regulation board is being pants on head retarded.
