Sega CD version. It was an official localization and one of the best retro localizations IMO. You're probably thinking of Policenauts, which never came out stateside and very recently got a Saturn english fan patch. Never played Sweet Home.

Splatterhouse 1-3 and the chibi one on NES are pretty great.

I have fun replaying from the very first game until OoE, but every time reach that faggot ass Legion, it ruins my fun always. Shitposted on every game post Symphony of the Night, ruining my experience. I wish I could replace them with Eligor, it looks better, cooler, sexier and totally not shit.

I dunno about you guys but I really like survival horror games despite the fact that they don't scare me in the slightest

overblood, countdown vampires, koudelka, martian gothic, all really fun games

I've been playing this game called "Blade Warrior" on an Amiga emulator.
It really has gotten me into the halloween mood.
You walk around this haunted forest looking for "artefacts" and talking to wizards. You trade the artefacts to the wizards to get tablets that, once complete, you take to a sorcerer who enchants your sword for it. Then you kill the boss.
The boss reminds me a lot of jason. He wanders around the map and if he catches you he traps you in his own personal hell. Getting caught early on is real painful.
Also, the phase of the moon displays your health. I thought that was neat.
I recommend it if you are familiar with Amiga games and know what you're getting in to.
