I disagree, honestly. Zophar maybe a generic evil god, but Ghaleon is a generic evil wizard that steals MC's girlfriend - which is worse. Not to mention the latter turned evil for no good reason. Sure, his best friend supposedly died and he got into some major disagreement with a deity he once trusted, but is that really reason enough to start murdering people and enlisting the help of monsters to take over the world? It just makes no sense. Granted, he becomes way cooler as a character in Lunar 2, but in Lunar 1 he's super boring.

Lunar had a ton of promotional art for ads in magazines and such. Even the cover of the Mega CD version uses the older art style giving Luna purple hair. Middle of the road medium budget Jrpg are not common anymore. Its either huge bankruptcy AAA skyrim clones like FF15 or super cheep shitty dungeon crawlers with naked lolis on the vita.

I thought the Lunar 1 Complete's artwork was really good, honestly. Having awesome, digitally colored cutscenes definitely helped. Speaking of which, did you know there was also a PC version of Silver Star Story Complete with much higher quality versions of those cutscenes?
