I think the kangaroos take away from the strategy. the powerups should end with the glove and kick. remote control bombs are op, the bombs that go through blocks are hard to see, etc. bomberman started getting gay when it was too chaotic and you couldn't outsmart people any longer

the games are a lot more costly than the console and I'm not really a collector, I want some fighters and action games, like Guardian Heroes and Burning Rangers and whatnot, but what are you gonna do

maybe some day I'll get Azel, Radiant Silvergun, SF Alphas, Virtua Fighters, Daytona, all my favorites

but at least I have Zwei which is my favorite game on the console

All retro ones are worth playing, but if I had to pick favorites, they would be Bomberman '94, Saturn Bomberman, and Super Bomberman 3. The N64 ones aren't bad either, but their MP is lacking compared to the others.

I am with >>3479918 but I am fine with all the randomness since they add to some variety and may give others a chance.

I think it is always the surprise when I can jump with a particular rooey in time with an explosion to avoid a blast and retain my "hit buffer".

I just do not like it in say the Xbox 360 version where revenge bombers can swap in with a frag, which causes some online groups of about 3 or more to just kill themselves off the bat and the remainder of players playing fairly on their own having no space to escape. While it is a sound strategy for exploiting a flaw in that particular version's game design. Sadly with revenge bomber turned off, no one wants to stay in a game if they are so stupid to kill themselves off the bat. I see it as a group of kids cannot skill their way to victory and just trolls any player that wants to play the game. I think it is fair the game series died with modern-ish online.

I only have '94 on PSN because my TurboDuo cannot play Japanese HuCards (CDs are fine).
